Nollywood’s 2025 ended on a sad note with the passing of actress and filmmaker Allwell Ademola. She was rushed to Ancilla Hospital in Agege, Lagos, on December 27, 2025, after complaining of breathing difficulties at home, but unfortunately, she succumbed to a heart attack.
Allwell Ademola was laid to rest on Friday at Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos, with industry stars like Toyin Abraham, Biola Adebayo, Rotimi Salami, and Saidi Balogun paying their last respects. The funeral service, held on Thursday, included a candlelight procession and “wrap prayer”.
