Afrobeats sensations Tems and Burna Boy have rewritten history for African music, becoming the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100.
Their latest milestone comes through features on J. Cole’s new album, The Fall-Off. Tems lends her vocals to “Bounce Road Blues” alongside Future, which debuted at number 34, while Burna Boy appears on “Only You”, debuting at 78.
These additions bring both artists’ total Hot 100 entries to eight.
For Tems, 2026 has been exceptional. She now holds three Hot 100 entries this year alone, making her the African artist with the most entries in 2026.

She also became the first African female artist to achieve seven Hot 100 entries, tying with Burna Boy and South African group Seether.
Burna Boy continues to set benchmarks of his own, becoming the first African artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive years. His entries include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and Only You (2026).
