Wike Appoints Sani Daura as SSA Protocol

Sani Musa Daura, newly appointed Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mr Sani Musa Daura as his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters, ensuring continuity of decades of protocol expertise within the FCT Administration.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.

According to the statement, Daura is “a seasoned civil servant with over 30 years’ experience in the FCTA Protocol Department,” where he has managed official engagements and state ceremonies.

Daura, who has served as Director of FCT Protocol since 2019, is scheduled to retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026. His new appointment as Senior Special Assistant will take effect from the date of his retirement.
